Cancer fatigue is not just “being tired.”
My son is fighting, a rare type of sarcoma cancer that affects his body in ways most people don’t see or understand.
He sleeps… and sleeps… and still wakes up exhausted.
His body feels heavy. His energy is gone before the day even begins.
His legs swell, holding fluid that makes even simple movement harder.
This isn’t laziness.
This isn’t depression.
This is cancer.
Cancer fatigue doesn’t go away with rest. It doesn’t get better with a nap or a cup of coffee. It’s a full-body exhaustion that takes everything from you.
And as a parent, there’s nothing harder than watching your child go through this and not being able to take it away.
So if you know someone battling cancer—be gentle with them. Be patient. Understand that what you see on the outside is only a fraction of what they’re carrying.
We’re still fighting. Every single day. 💔

Your body is strong. You’ve already been through so much, and you keep showing how brave you are—even on the hard days like today. This procedure is here to help you, to give the doctors the answers they need so they can take even better care of you.
You don’t have to be fearless. It’s okay to feel scared… just don’t forget how strong you are at the same time. I’ve got you, always. We’re walking through this together, step by step.
