When the world feels fractured, it’s easy to believe our small actions don’t matter. This post explores how “mending the web” begins with listening, tending, and choosing connection—and why these small acts of care are revolutionary.

Many people today feel lost, anxious, and untethered—not because they are broken, but because we live in a disconnected world. This post explores the grief of disconnection, the soul’s hunger for belonging, and how small acts of reconnection can mend the web of life.

Thresholds are not just moments of change — they are sacred spaces.

In myth, they appear as doorways, crossroads, or gates. In life, they show up as transitions we cannot undo: the birth of a child, the loss of a loved one, a career change, the quiet ache that whispers, this life no longer fits.

Thresholds demand something of us. Like Inanna descending into the underworld, we are asked to lay down what we once clung to — our crowns, our certainty, our old ways of being.

It can feel terrifying, even devastating. But thresholds are also invitations. They mark the place where endings and beginnings overlap, where the self we once were dissolves so that something truer can take shape.

This is the work I hold with the women I see in therapy — to honor the grief of what is passing, to witness the unraveling, and to step courageously toward the new.

✨ If you find yourself at a threshold right now — unsure, tender, or quietly restless — you are not alone. This is sacred ground. Therapy can be a place to pause, to gather courage, and to walk through together.

I’ve always been drawn to the quiet corners of our inner lives—the spaces between the known and the unknown—where intuition hums softly and subtle whispers linger. In those small, sacred moments, stories wait to be noticed, felt, and reflected on.

My dear friend and I are co-creating a podcast for deep thinkers and deep feelers, exploring the threads of motherhood, womanhood, magic, and healing—offering reflections on what it means to nurture yourself and others across life’s twists, turns, and transformations. I can’t wait to share it with you soon.

✨ You were held in birth — who’s holding you now? ✨

The postpartum season is tender, raw, and often invisible. While so much attention is placed on the baby, the mother — reborn herself — is often left holding everything, with no one holding her.

This free guide is for the quiet moments. The cracked-open ones. The ones where you wonder if you’re the only one feeling like this.

Inside, you’ll find gentle reflection prompts, grounding practices, and words meant to hold you — your body, your story, your sacred becoming.

You are not alone in this.

I had a dream that I was riding a wave—terrified and exhilarated all at once. I could see fish swimming beside me, as if the sea itself was alive and moving with me.
It felt like a message from my psyche:
You are already in motion. You don’t have to control it all. Just ride.

Lately, life has felt like this—like I’ve stepped into a current I can’t quite name. Leaving behind old roles, navigating fear, choosing something more alive and aligned. The fear still rises. So does the trust. And both are welcome.

I’m reminded:
The wave is not here to drown us.
It’s here to carry us toward something we’ve longed for.
And sometimes, the only thing we’re being asked to do is let go of the shore.

This is the kind of work I hold space for in others too—
The sacred in-between.
The messy middle.
The terrifying beauty of becoming.

Whether you’re facing a transition, a reckoning, or a quiet nudge from your own inner world—you’re not alone. The wave is strong, but so are you. Let’s ride it together.

Book Review: The Heroine’s Journey by Maureen Murdock
10/10 — a powerful read I’ll return to again and again.

This book felt like a mirror and a map.
A guide not just for women, but for anyone longing to return to themselves more wholly.

What moved me most was the exploration of healing the split between the mother and daughter archetypes — not only in relationship, but within the self. It made space for grief, complexity, and ultimately, deep integration.

Murdock invites us to remember that women are not just individuals on a quest — we are creators of community, protectors of the sacred, and keepers of the Divine Feminine. And when we lose touch with that, we don’t just lose connection with ourselves… we lose connection with each other, with the Earth, and with a sense of responsibility to the world we belong to.

This book made me think deeply about how we’ve internalized a culture of blame and detachment — from our bodies, our stories, and our surroundings. And how the healing path is often a return: to the body, to the land, to the roots.

If you’re navigating a season of inner transformation, or simply craving a deeper connection to feminine wisdom, I cannot recommend this book enough.
It’s mythic, reflective, symbolic, and deeply resonant — especially for those drawn to depth work.

The Heroine’s Journey is a reminder that you don’t need to become someone else. You’re here to return to who you already are.

You don’t have to do it all alone.
You’re allowed to be the strong one and the one who needs support.
You’re allowed to feel tired, overwhelmed, unseen — even when everything looks “fine” on the outside.
You deserve a space to feel heard, to breathe deeper, and to come back home to yourself.

If something in you is whispering it’s time, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

This weekend, I watched the sky soften from darkness into color.

There’s something sacred about being awake before the world stirs — the hush of the trees, the slow spill of light, the quiet reminder that everything changes… but never all at once.

It made me think about healing. About motherhood. About the parts of ourselves we silence in the noise.

How often do we rush to feel better… when really, we’re being asked to feel?

How often do we measure our growth by how quickly we “get over” something — instead of honoring how deeply we’re being changed by it?

The sunrise reminded me:

✨ Not all transformation is loud.
✨ Not all beginnings feel good right away.
✨ Not all pain means you’re doing it wrong.

You can be in the thick of it — and still becoming.
You can feel joy and grief in the same breath.
You can take your time.

Even after the longest night, a new day arrives. Not all at once — but gently. Quietly. Like you.

You’re allowed to unfold slowly.
You’re allowed to be held while you do.

If you’re moving through a tender transition — identity shifts, postpartum, burnout, or emotional overwhelm — I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

You can be both.

You can be grateful and grieving.
You can love your life and still long for the parts of you that feel forgotten.
You can be proud of everything you carry—and also ache under the weight of it all.

So many women—especially mothers—are told to choose.
To be either joyful or struggling.
Strong or soft.
Present or overwhelmed.
But the truth is: we live in the both/and.

You can adore your children, and still feel lonely.
You can cherish your role, and still miss who you were before.
You can want this life with your whole heart—and still feel like you’re losing pieces of yourself in the process.

None of that makes you ungrateful.
None of that makes you wrong.

It makes you honest.
It makes you whole.

This is the reality of being a woman in a world that asks so much of us—and gives us so little space to be real.

You don’t have to choose one feeling to justify the other.
You don’t have to explain your joy—or your pain.
You’re allowed to feel it all.

At the same time.
In the same breath.
In the same body that holds the weight of your world.

Therapy is a place where your full story—your both/and—is welcome.

Dear one,

If you’ve been quietly holding it all together—juggling roles, wrestling with burnout, feeling the weight of motherhood or identity shifts—
You’re not alone.

Life has a way of reshaping us in both tender and trying ways.
And sometimes, what we most need is a space to pause. To land. To be reminded we don’t have to carry it all on our own.

As I continue to grow my private practice, I’ve opened up a select number of therapy spots through Headway, which allows me to accept several insurances for a period of time.

✨ I currently accept:
✔️ Aetna
✔️ BlueCross BlueShield
✔️ Carelon Behavioral Health
✔️ Optum
✔️ SelectHealth
✔️ UnitedHealthcare (UHC / UBH)

Whether you’re navigating matrescence, boundaries, emotional overwhelm, or simply seeking to return to yourself—I’d be honored to support you.
