Meet Dr.Cokgor

Dr. Cokgor received her medical degree from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, and her PhD in University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She did her residency in neurology at Duke University in North Carolina. She sub-specialized in Neuro-oncology after completing her residency, and joined the faculty as Assistant Professor at Duke University. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, she started her practice in Marin County and joined to Department of Neurosurgery at UC Davis as a Clinical Associate. She also sees patients in Marin General Hospital and Novato Community Hospital. Services We Provide

Congratulations to our amazing Stroke Care Team! At MarinHealth Medical Center we have a dedicated Stroke Team in our Emergency Department, where a neurologist and neurosurgeon are on call, 24/7 to rapidly identify and treat patients with acute stroke. Our focus is on helping you achieve the best possible outcome. For the thirteenth year in a row, MarinHealth's Stroke Care Team received the “Get with the Guidelines” Gold+ Award for Excellence in Stroke Care & Type 2 Diabetes.
