Adults working through: anxiety, depression, life transition, women's issues, maternal/parenting stressors, birth trauma, and postpartum depression

Children working through : anxiety, depression, school issues, anxiety related to being gifted and talented

Our mission is to build strengths, find clarity and reach calm in a safe therapeutic environment.

Happy Friday! It was a refreshing day today. I don't believe Ive mentioned that Ive had the recent opportunity to serve on the board of postpartum support international TX chapter . A great organization supporting the perinatal and postpartum space.

Today was our first meet and greet organized by and it was wonderful. We met many perinatal providers from around Texas and got to learn about their amazing work and resources. Excited for what is to come from and for our chapter ! It's the little things that reinforce why I love the work that I do.

SIX clients today (my max) or I can’t function at home properly and my kids don’t have a ride home. Joking aside…some might see this room and think/say:
- it’s a mess… but I see comfort in that giant teddy bear ( thank you to my daughter for donating her once loved possession) sharing comfort with others
- how does play help, they need to just know to follow rules… but I hear big feelings coming out that have not been said out loud and see their little faces relax

Today was an anticipated longer day but a great day! Thankful for challenging days like this where Im humbled and remember how rewarding this work is!
