Some great info on TQ use in urban vs field care. Knowing your resources are half the battle!

We can’t emphasize enough how important training to reassess any medical interventions is! TQs are tools BUT they absolutely have physiological implications for the casualty the longer they are left in place. If prolonged evacuation times are or could be your reality, training to convert TQs to wound packing and pressure dressings should ABSOLUTELY be a focus. Is your training on TQ conversions adequate for your operational realities?
