One of the hardest things we can do is face ourselves, not with disdain or shame, but with compassion, non-judgment, empathy, and love. It's about coming home to ourselves and being comfortable in our own skin, letting go of the delusion that we can avoid pain or the 'negative' things in life. This is what makes us human: understanding there will be 'bad,' but also 'good,' and so much is determined by how we interact with the world in each moment. We all need to find that affirmation, prayer, or meditation that grounds us in the present moment and our brilliant sanity.

​Motherhood is one of the most difficult and amazing experiences. The days are short, but the years are long. I'm navigating the transitional space of breaking generational traumas. It is the moments of pure joy—their curiosity, their self-expression, their learning, and even being there for them when they are struggling—that truly matter.
