Still thanking God for allowing me the grace and mercy to be in some of the spaces He is allowing me to be in. C. Mack, thank you again for this opportunity. This interview on reminds me of how much purpose has come from my pain. The work I do comes from the pain of my own trauma and grief, intergenerationally and otherwise. Although my nerves took over and I couldn’t deliver it the way I really wanted to, my prayer is that this interview still connects with you in some way. Blessings to you❤️‍🩹

This quote says so much! There are so many times that we are grieving and don’t even realize it because of the way it can show up. For a long time I only looked at grief as something that comes when death does, but grief can show up in so many situations/experiences. Any significant change, loss, and/or traumatizing event can produce a grief response. I hope this is a reminder for you to check in with yourself and to create space for what you need.

I still get sooo nervous doing things like this, yet still so grateful for opportunities like this that help me grow. Michael, of True Counseling Health Services, and I were blessed with the opportunity to be on episode 428 of If This Mic Could Talk. 🫡June 12th is Women Veterans Recognition Day!! Special thanks to Michelle Ojeda for using her call to action to help create visibility with her beautiful posters. This day is set aside to increase the visibility of the role women have fulfilled in the military. Today we celebrate the sacrifices, the historical and monumental contributions, as well as the voices that continue to pave the way for change.

Happy Black History Month, and second month in the year of new beginnings, y’all! Just wanted to share about the upcoming revival at Divine Praise and Worship in Little Rock, Arkansas, and express how grateful to God I am for giving me the opportunity to be amongst these amazing women of God. Thank you, Pastor Shawn Robinson for trusting me with this chance to speak about mental health and for pushing me out of my comfort zone. Your encouragement and heart for God is priceless.
