My reason for staying fit was no longer only for my physical appearance but mainly for my ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐ก๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก. Van life was ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ challenging at times, so the gym was my place to recharge. โฃ

My goal was to go to the gym 4x a week, which happened most weeks. โฃ

Surprisingly in the northern states there were little to ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐คฏ So I forced myself to workout at home with resistant bands and light dumbbells (๐ธ๐ฉ๐ช๐ค๐ฉ ๐ ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฅ ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ซ๐ฐ๐บ ๐ข๐ต ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ). Since I didnโt enjoy working out at home, at times I allowed the excuse of having lots of work be the reason for not working out. โฃ

When it came to my nutrition, I tried to be consistent with tracking my food but it depended on if we were staying in the van or if had at a place with an oven, bigger fridge & microwave. โฃ
โฃ
When we stayed in the van, we could only cook when we werenโt driving (๐ธ๐ฉ๐ช๐ค๐ฉ ๐ธ๐ข๐ด ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐ญ๐บ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ข ๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐ฉ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐จ๐ฆ๐ต ๐ง๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐๐ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐). The fridge could only hold 2-3 days worth of groceries so we would run out quickly. This lead to eating out daily at times ๐ฌ โฃ

I gave myself permission to enjoy the food that was special to each location. I tried to be mindful of how many calories I ate but I definitely wasnโt getting in enough protein and was eating too many carbs and fats. โฃ

Honestly though, I am proud of myself for what I was able to maintain ๐๐ My old self (๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ค๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ข ๐ค๐ฐ๐ข๐ค๐ฉ) had the all or nothing mindset, which would have led to me being much heavierโฆโฃ

I gained almost 15lbs. โฃ

The journey is full of ups and downs and never ends. Iโm excited to be settled down at a house and shift my focus back on fitness. ๐๐ฅ Gains loadingโฆโฃ
