March 20th ~🌎Int'l Day of Happiness 😊
Today, and everyday, sending best wishes to everyone. May you be happy, may you be free from suffering and may you be free to pursue your highest dreams and aspirations.
How do you define happiness in your life, right now? Throughout our lives, our definition of being happy may change, so it's a great exercise to periodically hit the refresh button and write down what is NOW truly brings us closer to that deep, abiding joy from within.
The great sages of old remind us of the difference between superficial and temporary feelings and expressions that make us feel happy in the moment and those perineal ways of being that connect us with the more permanent aspect of ourselves and which create a more authentic connection to bliss and contentment.
Do you have any 'Happiness' rituals that you do everyday? Just like brushing our teeth to keep them bright and shiny, modern research is confirming the need to have a daily mental hygiene, to help preserve, nurture and grow our capacity to be healthy and happy!
