Women’s health symptoms aren’t always obvious — and some shouldn’t be ignored.

This Women’s Health Month, Dr. Rebecca Fargason shares five symptoms women should talk to a provider about, including:
• Persistent fatigue
• Shortness of breath or chest pain
• Irregular bleeding
• Breast changes
• Ongoing pelvic pain or bloating

Listening to your body is an important part of preventive care. If something feels off, don’t wait to start the conversation.

Not every knee injury fits a traditional treatment path.

“There’s a significant group of patients who fall into a gap between conservative care and joint replacement.”

At UT Health San Antonio, Thomas DeBerardino, MD, and our orthopaedic team are advancing approaches that help address that gap, supporting patients in staying active with less invasive options. These efforts were recently highlighted in an article from Becker’s Spine Review: https://bit.ly/4tjis7f
