He is also an active member in the Texas Orthopaedic Association, Texas Medical Association and Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Gordon specializes in Sports Medicine and Joint Reconstruction procedures including total knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, ACL reconstruction, total hip replacement and repairs, total shoulder replacement and other degenerative or sports

related injuries. Dr. Gordon is trusted across the area for enhancing the knowledge of the community in orthopedics. He is Team Physician with Justin Sports Medicine team, volunteers as the Medical Director for Cowboy Health at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, has assisted with coverage for other athletic events including professional basketball (San Antonio Spurs) and hockey (San Antonio Rampage), was featured on ESPN radio as an expert on sport related injuries and has been an invited speaker at regional and national conferences.
