🌟 Meet Elizabeth-Breastfeeding Peer Counselor 🌟
Elizabeth has been a dedicated Breastfeeding Peer Counselor with WIC for an incredible 27 years! She primarily supports families at our West Campus and Northwest WIC locations, bringing decades of experience and heartfelt care to every interaction.
As a mother of two, Elizabeth exclusively nursed her sons for a combined total of 7 years, surpassing her own goals and proving that breastfeeding doesn’t have to stop at age one. Her journey fuels her passion for helping other parents succeed.

Her top advice?
“Start learning during pregnancy, the more you know, the better your chances of reaching your breastfeeding goals.”
She also reminds new parents that the first few days may not be perfect, but with patience and support, you and your baby will grow together. And remember, your Peer Counselors are always here for you!
Elizabeth’s connection to WIC runs deep, as she was once a WIC client herself. Now, she’s committed to giving back by sharing resources and encouragement with every family she meets.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys baking and decorating sugar cookies, hiking, camping, and cheering on her three grandbabies at their sports events.
