Institute Of Interventions The type of therapy used is determined by the needs of our clients. There are no income or residency restrictions. By appointment only; no walk-ins, please.

The Institute Of Interventions accommodates clients with limited resources, provides quality therapy for individuals, couples, families & groups on a sliding scale, and provides training in mental health to promote learning as a way to understanding. Clients of the Institute Of Interventions may receive psychotherapy services as an individual, couple, family, group, and/or attend pre-marital, marital check-ups and other relationship workshops. The modalities may include, but are not limited to: collaborative, narrative, solution-focused, play, CBT, TF-CBT, EFT, informed DBT, and crisis work. Sliding scale fees are based on household income and number of dependents (no insurance or third-party payments accepted at this time). Discounts may apply to those affiliated with government, military and law enforcement agencies. Current clinicians are fully Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and are advanced doctoral candidate graduate students in the program of Marriage and Family Therapy at the Department of Counseling and Human Services at St. Mary's University. At minimum, those who have not yet acquired full licensure are clinicians whom are supervised by accredited doctoral-level supervisors and seasoned clinicians. The program at St. Maryโ€™s of Marriage and Family Therapy is nationally accredited. The Institute Of Interventions encourages participation and interaction. This profile serves as a forum for discussions about community-related topics and interactions among people with an interest in our services. We hope to provide a forum for dialogue among the many diverse voices in our area, and we encourage comments about the content you find here. UPDATED FLOOD RELIEF COORDINATION, VOLUNTEER INFORMATION AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES

In response to recent flooding in Kerr County, city and county officials have partnered with local organizations to provide coordinated relief and support services to affected residents.

Volunteers and In-Kind Donations
The following sites are accepting volunteers and material donations:

Shelter and Displacement Assistance

โ€ข Communications support (Wi-Fi boosters, satellite phones, etc.)

As we consider the many ways to assist, the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development is offering free access to its Trust-Based Relational Intervention online course to individuals, families and organizations affected by this disaster.

The Institute Of Interventions encourages participation and interaction.
