Welcome to the page of Dr. Linda Strano Burton, Ph.D. I am an independent fertility and family coach in San Antonio, Texas, devoted to helping individuals, couples, and families explore various family building options. Infertility is ranked as one of the most stressful experiences in life along with death, divorce, and deadly diseases, such as HIV and cancer (Domar, Zuttermeister, & Friedman, 1993). Because people who experience infertility are under an enormous amount of stress, often they feel left alone to deal with their struggles. Feeling upset and angry at the situation often drives individuals into isolation, making it difficult to manage everyday life and relationships. Recognizing the challenges surrounding infertility is important, and providing education and resources to people who face these challenges is crucial. I work with individuals, couples, and families that encounter infertility issues providing a holistic approach throughout the entire process. I assess needs and continue a path together with you identifying resources and individualizing evidence-based self-care tools to navigate the harsh waters of infertility. I will hold your hand and help you before, during, and after your journey to build your family. Before: with learning strategies, information, and resources available to start the process; During: with providing support and resources necessaries to navigate the experience; and After: with providing education about Child & Human development, Parenting strategies, Living a Childfree life. I also provide education, and I offer seminars to individuals, parents, and families interested in learning more about Wellness, Self-Care, Human & Child Development, and Positive Guidance parenting strategies. Good morning everyone!

Great NEWS!!! I have extended my services from coaching to mental health counseling.

* I provide mental health counseling in infertility, family formation, pregnancy & infant loss, and perinatal mood disorders (i.e. postpartum anxiety and depression.) I am fully committed to embracing individuals who are planning, or in the process of building a family, as well as those grieving loss from this process.
** I also and always welcome anyone (regardless of infertility issues) representing diverse backgrounds, identities, and different ranges of concerns, including depression, anxiety, loss, attachment styles & concerns, life transitions, trauma, Domestic Violence.
*** I speak both English and Italian and I offer counseling & coaching in both languages.
