The problem with mental health stigma?
It doesn’t always sound harsh — sometimes it sounds *normal.*
“You’re being dramatic.”
“Others have it worse.”
“Just relax, you’re fine.”
“You’re being ungrateful.”
“Choose happiness.”
“It’s all in your head.”
These phrases don’t support healing — they silence it.
Mental health struggles are real, valid, and deserving of care… not comparison, dismissal, or pressure to “just be okay.”
Let’s shift the conversation:
✨ “I hear you.”
✨ “That sounds really hard.”
✨ “You don’t have to go through this alone.”
Words matter. The way we respond can either deepen shame or create safety.
