Nu-Trish-Us

Nu-Trish-Us In April of 2021 we sold our house with intentions of being full time in the 5hth wheel and traveling, we got delayed! Love N Light

We are about creating homostatis in our bodies for a healthy happy life, freedom from within,
We focus on the nutritional aspect & connecting the dots between it to our body, mind & spirit! My husband is in stage 5 kidney failure, CKD, there’s been five surgeries from July 26th to December 3 2021. One failed PD, one heart line for dialysis put in, second failed PD, got put out to community care to

a specialist for a successful PD, and finally the heart line removed. Went through 3 months in center dialysis, then home on manuals during the day and finally on night time PD machine. We’ve learned a lot, especially about what nutrients he needs more or less of. People on dialysis need to take what is called a binder to remove excess phosphorus from their system, for some it can be as simple as tums as some binders are calcium related, on dialysis one of many things you have to watch is the amount of calcium intake. My husband also had heart burn so he was eating them like candy, sent him to the hospital over calcification, which caused low potassium, ironically, he is supposed to be on a low potassium diet. We started out with the intention to share fun yummy healthy recipes and healthy life style choices, it’s turned in to more as we’ve unfolded a story to tell to assist others on their adventures and experiences. Here’s a list of topics and posts that we will be doing:
Living a healthy life style
Recipes
Mediations
Exercise
Support groups for
Spouses and people with CKD
Disabled veterans
People with diabetes and chronic illnesses
Bills journey videos
Healthy living on the road in a RV
Resources for all
Veteran’s resources
Helpful links
Product reviews
And more as we discover more on our journey! Basically, our page is about living a healthy life style that anyone can do to avoid the pitfalls of chronic illnesses as well as those already experiencing it, so it’s for anyone that needs or wants this information and support! I’ll be posting as much as I can for recipes and more nutritious alternatives and information while we are on the road for another Bill-N-Trish’s Excellent Adventures. We already have some videos on that page about dialysis as it’s part of our adventure, your welcome to follow along there if you would like. https://www.facebook.com/BillNTrishsexcellentadventures

We are not about bombarding you, if you contact us, we will get back to you as soon as we can. Once we get the website up and running it’ll be the same, and you get to choose if there is something you would like emails on, like recipes. We will have affiliate links for products we approve of for anyone whose interested in them. Basically, we don’t like to get bombarded with emails and advertisements, so we choose not to do that to others!

The Earth experiences a rhythmic "heartbeat" approximately every 26 seconds, a phenomenon characterized by microseismic pulses that originate from the ocean. These pulses, known as the "26-second microseismic band," have intrigued scientists for years, as their consistent nature suggests an underlying, yet unidentified, cause. While the exact origin of these seismic waves is still a mystery, several theories have been proposed to explain them.
One possibility is that the pulses are related to ocean waves. It is hypothesized that when ocean waves crash against coastlines or the ocean floor, they generate pressure and vibrations that can propagate through the Earth, creating these microseismic pulses. Another theory points to volcanic activity. It is believed that undersea volcanic eruptions or tectonic movements could produce the vibrations detected as part of the Earth’s "heartbeat." Finally, some scientists propose that sediment fractures and shifting materials on the ocean floor may contribute to the phenomenon, with the constant motion of these materials producing periodic seismic waves.
Despite these theories, the precise cause of the 26-second pulses remains elusive. Scientists continue to monitor and analyze seismic data in hopes of uncovering the exact mechanism behind this curious, rhythmic phenomenon. Further research may shed light on the connection between oceanic processes, seismic activity, and the planet's dynamic behavior.

This is my Sweet Husbands profile., Richard “Bill” Bishop. Dove finds living donors for Veterans. With a living donor, their chances of not needing another transplant improve significantly.

A living donor kidney typically functions for 12-20 years, while a deceased donor kidney lasts around 8-12 years.
The success rate for living donor transplants is around 95% one year post-transplant, compared to about 90% for deceased donors.
Waiting for a deceased donor kidney can take years, while living donor transplants significantly reduce wait times.
Kidneys from living donors often begin functioning immediately, leading to smoother recovery and better outcomes.

Minimal Risk for Donors:

The risk of death related to donor surgery is less than 0.03%.
Most donors return to their regular activities within weeks, and the long-term health impact is minimal.
Studies have shown that donating a kidney does not decrease the donor's life expectancy.
If for some reason in the future a living donor had a need for a transplant they would go to the top of the list.
Choosing to be a living donor not only extends life expectancy but also ensures better quality of life for veterans in need. Dove's mission is to make this possible, offering hope and a healthier future.
There is also a living donor exchange program in case you don’t match the person you want to donate to, someone else may!

The cultivation method known as “The Three Sisters” or “Milpa” is an ancestral technique used by indigenous peoples of America to optimize the growth of three basic crops: corn, beans and squash.
This strategy is based on the complementary benefits that each plant brings to the whole, generating a relationship of mutual support.
Corn: Provides structure and shade for other plants. Its height allows the bean to climb, like a natural ladder!
Bean: Fixes nitrogen in the soil, enriching the medium for corn and squash. In addition, it provides essential proteins, becoming a nutritional source.
Pumpkin: Covers the ground, blocking the light that weeds need to grow. Its large leaves also retain soil moisture, keeping it cool and reducing the need for frequent watering.

Internal Solar System: Exploring Our Universe Within

When we think of the solar system, images of planets orbiting a massive sun, distant galaxies, and cosmic marvels swirl in our minds. But have you ever wondered about the solar system that lies within us? The universe within the human body is equally fascinating, complex, and mesmerizing. Just as the planets follow the sun, the cells in our body are interconnected, orbiting around the core of our being, performing their unique roles to sustain life.

The Center: Our Sun Within

At the center of our internal solar system is the heart, akin to the sun in the celestial solar system. It is the powerhouse that energizes our body, circulating life-giving blood to every corner. The heart beats with rhythmic precision, akin to the sun’s gravitational pull, maintaining the intricate balance of our internal universe.

Planets and Orbits: Cells in Harmony

Just as planets orbit the sun, our cells orbit around their core functions. Red blood cells, like diligent Saturn and Jupiter, transport oxygen, while neurons communicate signals as swiftly as Mercury zips around the sun. Each cell type, akin to planets, is dedicated to maintaining harmony within the body’s ecosystem.

The Cosmic Fleet: Immune System Defense

The immune system functions similarly to a cosmic fleet, defending against external threats. Like asteroids and comets navigating the solar landscape, foreign invaders are met with precision defense mechanisms. The body's immune response is a testament to its strategic defense, safeguarding our universe within.

Energy Fuel: Nutrients and Metabolism

The food we consume is like the sunlight bathing our planet, fueling our internal processes. Nutrients form the energy currency, converted into usable energy through metabolic pathways, mirroring how sunlight drives photosynthesis on Earth, sustaining life.

Cosmic Balance and Alignment

Just as celestial bodies align under cosmic laws, the body thrives on balance—homeostasis. Hormones act as gravitational forces within, ensuring everything functions optimally. This cosmic balance is vital, for when harmony is maintained, the body, like the universe, thrives in seemingly effortless perfection.

Mysteries and Exploration

The internal solar system, much like the vast universe, holds mysteries and unknowns. The pursuit of understanding ourselves parallels the quest for cosmic knowledge. Scientific exploration has unveiled wonders within, yet there remains so much to discover, akin to the uncharted territories of space.

The universe within us is a testament to the intricacy of life, an internal solar system that speaks to the marvel of existence. As we explore the galaxies above, let us not forget the universe that beats within each heartbeat, echoing the celestial harmony overhead.

The internal solar system, a universe within, remains a marvel in its own right, encouraging us to embrace the wonders of both the cosmos and ourselves.
