David had been volunteering for over ten years with a local Saddleback church/NAMI family-to-family program, but it wasn’t until July 27, 2013 that we knew we had finally found a place where we belong - a church family. It was a significant day for so many. 😭 We were embraced, and SFSG was birthed in the same year. Since then, David has had the opportunity to minister, train and equip hundreds of churches, schools and organizations, both locally and globally, in the area of mental health. We have seen the fruit of such faith, hope and love as Saddleback Church showed up for us time and time again!

We LOVE you, Kay Warren and Pastor Rick Warren and we definitely wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for you and your family. We are praying with you, we honor you, and we are with you in spirit as you are celebrated this next week for your 43 years of steadfast ministry! All our love from SFSG and the Mandani family.

2021 is another year for the history books. Global pandemic. Civil unrest. Political divides. Nothing in the news seems upbeat and positive, and it seems that every type of fatigue tries to creep in. Yet, in the midst of all of this we have a blessed ASSURANCE that God sent His son for us. In this simple truth, we can REST. We are grateful for his supernatural PEACE, an undeserved GRACE, and His promises for the future. Merry Christmas from SFSG to you and yours. See you in 2022 with lots more on the horizon!
