Before healing, my identity was tangled in old wounds and the roles I thought I had to play. I confused survival with living and wore masks that felt safer than the truth.

Positive Psychology teaches us that awareness is the first step toward change and that moment of recognition can be uncomfortable but powerful. The day I started questioning the version of myself I had been carrying was when I began making space for the woman I was becoming.
