I get this question a lot…
“Why do I need multiple sessions?”

Because your body doesn’t change all at once.

There are layers to what we’re working through—
fluid, tissue, structure, and how your body adapts after each session.

One session can create a shift.
But real results come from progression and consistency.

That’s how the body actually holds change.

04/27/2026

The power of a single reset. 🧬✨

Results from just one session of Lymphomodelling using the Manuela Shala method. This isn’t about temporary “reduction”—it’s about a functional shift in how the body processes fluid.

By targeting the lymphatic system with clinical precision, we move stagnant fluid and inflammation, allowing the body’s natural architecture to shine through. My “Medical Model” approach focuses on the science of the shift, providing long-term relief and visible restoration.

Whether you are visiting our Piscataway, NJ clinic or our Englewood, CO location, we are committed to the highest level of manual therapy.

One session can be the catalyst for a total systemic reset.

Lymphatic drainage is one of those things people hear about, but don’t always fully understand.

It’s not about forcing anything out of the body. Your body already knows what to do.

This work supports your lymphatic system… helping it move the way it’s supposed to.

When things are flowing well, you may notice less heaviness, less puffiness, and a body that just feels more in tune.

When it’s not, that’s when you can start to feel stagnant.

This is about supporting your body… not working against it.

If you’ve been hearing about lymphatic drainage and wondering what it actually does, this is your foundation.

04/09/2026

Most people won’t see a big difference here… and that’s okay

This wasn’t contouring
and it wasn’t lymphatic drainage

This client has diastasis recti
and all I did was a small amount of SMRT work to the abdomen

Look closely around the navel and lower abdomen
there’s a slight shift in how the tissue is sitting
less tension, a little more ease

That small change matters

When tissue isn’t restricted, lymph can move better without being forced

Sometimes the body doesn’t need more pressure
it just needs space to function

What’s Happening at MNBS | Wednesdays

At MNBS we offer several types of lymphatic and bodywork services to support different needs and stages of healing.

Some clients come in for scar tissue therapy related to surgical scars from procedures like C-sections, gallbladder removal, laparoscopic surgeries, or other operations that may still feel tight or restricted years later.

Others may need lymphatic support after surgery to help the body manage swelling and encourage healthy fluid movement during recovery.

We also work with clients who are simply looking to support their lymphatic system for overall wellness, circulation, and body balance.

Every body is different, which is why we offer different lymphatic techniques and approaches depending on what the body needs.

Many people focus on diet or exercise when something feels off in their body, but they rarely think about the lymphatic system.

This system is responsible for helping manage fluid balance, supporting the immune system, and assisting the body with clearing waste from tissues. When it’s not moving efficiently, people may notice subtle changes before they realize what’s happening.

Things like persistent puffiness, a feeling of heaviness in the body, or digestion not feeling quite right can sometimes be connected to how well fluid is circulating through the body.

The goal isn’t to chase symptoms but to start paying attention to what the body is communicating. When we understand those signals, we can begin supporting the body in ways that help it function the way it was designed to.

Paying attention to your body is one of the first steps toward better health.

Heart conditions and lymphatic work is a question that comes up more than people think.

The lymphatic system doesn’t have its own pump like the heart. It relies on breathing, muscle movement, and the natural rhythm of the vessels to move fluid through the body. During lymphatic work we’re helping guide that fluid back toward the areas where it drains into the venous circulation near the collarbone.

Once that fluid returns to circulation, the body has to process it.

So when someone has certain heart conditions, especially if they are dealing with fluid retention or heart failure, we have to be thoughtful about how the body will handle that shift in fluid.

That doesn’t automatically mean someone cannot receive lymphatic work. Many people with heart conditions can, especially if the condition is stable and medically managed. It just means the practitioner needs to understand the physiology, take a thorough intake, and modify the work appropriately.

Lymphatic work should support the body, not overwhelm it. And that starts with assessment.

This is exactly why I always say… lymphatic work is not just a massage.

Have you ever been told you shouldn’t receive lymphatic work because of a medical condition?

03/05/2026

Yesterday I shared this result in my reel and talked about the importance of assessment.

Today I want to talk about the thinking behind it.

Sometimes the changes are subtle, but when you understand the body and apply the right approach, the tissue responds.

In this case the focus was addressing restriction in the abdomen and supporting lymphatic flow.

Scar tissue therapy together with lymphomodelling helped restore movement and reduce congestion in the tissue.

This is what I mean when I talk about lymphatic intelligence.

Understanding what the body needs instead of just running a routine.

Course coming soon. Interested?

Scar tissue doesn’t just affect the surface of the body. It can restrict the tissue underneath and interfere with how fluid drains through the abdomen.

This client had significant abdominal scar tissue from two C-sections and a tummy tuck. Over time that restriction can contribute to congestion in the area and make the abdomen feel tight, swollen, or heavy.

In this session I focused on restoring movement in the tissue and supporting lymphatic flow through the abdomen.

When the tissue softens and the pathways begin to open again, the body can finally start moving fluid the way it was designed to.

Many clients notice that it’s not just a visual change. Digestion can improve, the abdomen feels lighter, and elimination becomes more regular.

The goal isn’t just aesthetics.
It’s restoring function.
