Since 2005, A Better Life Together, Inc. (ABLT) has helped individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to fulfill their desired purpose. The agency creates a partnership of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live and work in the community and to be valued members of society. ABLT provides supported and independent living services to individuals who want to live in their own home and community-based day programs and customized tailored day program services to those who want to work, pursue higher education, start a business or other goals.

It is the mission of ABLT to support the rights of individuals to realize their life goals through choice while working in the community and living in their own homes in the communities. It is our mission to support disabled individuals who want to maintain their independence. The mission is based on a belief that everyone deserves to live in a home of their own and earn money to meet their needs.

The goal of ABLT is to promote an increased quality of life for people served. The agency will accomplish this by facilitating opportunities for the individual to participate and become valued members of their communities. The agency will support and respect an individual's choice and control, access community, and generic resources, to develop personal support networks, and to facilitate safe and healthy lifestyles. A Better Life Together will strive to identify and build upon an individual’s strengths and interests, as well as those specific services and supports which are needed for optimum levels of interdependence.
