Who remembers the wild adventure of building our Backyard Oasis?

Seven years ago, this dreamy sanctuary was just a vision (literally!) and a pile of dirt! 💦🌿

Watching it take shape one dig, one stone, one plant, and one hopeful wish at a time was a little overwhelming (okay, sometimes a LOT 😂).

But here’s what we learned:
Big dreams are built not in giant leaps, but in small, steady steps.

🌿 Three years ago today, we celebrated another networking launch event for the VillaVision Wellness & Retreat Center — but the story began long before the doors ever opened.

In the spring of 2018, I felt the very first nudge… a whisper of something wanting to be created.

By October 2019, I could see it — a vision of a villa, a sanctuary, a place for healing.

And in August 2022, that vision became real - the official launch of The VillaVision Wellness & Retreat Center.

What started as a backyard of weeds and dirt transformed into an oasis.
What began as an intuitive spark has now become a growing, thriving healing space.

To honor the launch three years ago, I held a networking event in my mom’s beloved Studio of Ceramic Arts.

It was more than an event — it was a moment of legacy: honoring my mother who built the studio with my father in 1952… honoring the land my grandparents purchased in the 1940s… and honoring the future that continues to unfold on this sacred family soil.

I can’t wait to see what the next three years bring.

We have beautiful adventures ahead — and I’m excited to document the journey and share it with you.
