The Ergo Expert

The Ergo Expert TheErgoExpert: Providing Ergonomic Education, Productivity, and Comfort to your Work Space. Servic The Ergo Expert transpired from the Covid pandemic.

Our 10 year company, Two Hands Wellness Events had to close our doors multiple times because of the mandated closures in CA. Because of the growing virtual community, I wanted to help the Work from Home community and educate in pain prevention and bring awareness to mental health through our services. The Ergo Expert: Providing Ergonomic Education, Productivity, and Comfort to your Work Space. Ergonomics is the study of people's efficiency in their working environment. Because we come in all different shapes and sizes, ergonomic education is important. We provide different services like: 1-1 Ergo Assessments, Group Assessments, New Office Set ups, and a Train the Trainer Program. Because a majority of the community is at home, we also wanted to help support any kind of mental state that may arise. Therefore, we created "Brain Breaks" for our Corporate clients. Brain Breaks consist of stretching, breathwork and meditation. When we are all able to center and ground ourselves, we are able to become more creative and see things from a different perspective. As passionate as I am with preventative education through ergonomics, it has been a challenge because some are unaware of their ergonomics while working. Some say that their WFH situation is temporary, so they "tough" through the pain because they will be back at work soon. It's been about a year since the beginning of the pandemic and we all have a "new norm". Working from home might be a permanent "norm" for some. NOW is the time to take care of yourselves and those around us. To help bring awareness and ergonomic education to light, I started to the new brand: The Ergo Expert. I want to make ergonomics sexy, fun, bright, and exciting. I am teaming up with interior designers and local companies to spread the word of Wellness.

Imagine walking into a workspace that instantly lifts your mood.

Color isn’t just design — it directly influences energy, focus, creativity, and stress levels.

🧡 Orange energizes and sparks creativity.
🌿 Green promotes balance and sustained focus.
💛 Yellow boosts optimism and mental clarity.
💙 Blue enhances calm and productivity.

The right color strategy can transform how your team works — and how you feel at your desk every day.

If you could redesign your workspace, which color would you choose?

If you spend hours at a desk, your upper back is working harder than you think.

Long periods of typing and looking at a screen can cause your shoulders to round forward and your neck to subtly lean out of alignment. Over time, that tension builds.

This quick reset helps counteract that forward posture and gives your upper body a moment to decompress.

It takes less than a minute — but when done consistently, it can make your workday feel lighter and more sustainable.

Try it between meetings or whenever you notice your posture slipping.

Small resets prevent bigger problems later.

Neck tight by midday? Shoulders creeping up to your ears?

Long hours at your desk can quietly build tension in your neck, shoulders, and upper back — especially when you stay in one position for too long.

Instead of pushing through it, try resetting your body during the workday:
• release built-up tension
• move your spine gently
• wake up muscles that have been “on pause”
• boost circulation and focus

These quick movements work whether you’re at a standing desk or sitting — no equipment needed.

It only takes a minute or two, but your body will feel the difference.

Try them out and tell me — do you feel lighter after? 👀

Your desk setup shouldn’t be the reason your body feels exhausted by midday.

Small changes, like a supportive chair, bringing your laptop to eye level, and using a wireless keyboard, can make a big difference in how your neck, back, and wrists feel throughout the day.

It’s not about having a “perfect” office.
It’s about setting up your space so your body isn’t working against you.

Your workspace affects more than just how it looks — it affects how you feel.

Adding plants to your home or office can help:
• reduce visual stress
• support focus and calm
• make long workdays feel lighter
• create a more comfortable environment

Plants aren’t just décor—they’re part of a supportive workspace. Just like good posture and movement, your environment plays a role in how your body and mind show up each day.

Start small. Even one plant can make a difference.

Ever feel uncomfortable at your desk but can’t quite figure out why? 👀
Let’s start with something simple: your sit bones.

If you can’t clearly feel them grounded on your chair, chances are you’re:
• slouching
• leaning forward
• or slowly turning into desk shrimp 🦐

And over time, that adds up to:
neck tension
lower back discomfort
and fatigue that sneaks up on you by mid-afternoon.

Good posture isn’t about sitting stiff or “perfect.”
It’s about supporting your body so it can actually do its job.

That’s why we focus on:
✔ feeling balanced on your seat
✔ setting up your chair + desk to work with you
✔ using simple ergonomic tools that make posture easier (not harder)

Small adjustments = big relief over time.

💬 Be honest — can you feel your sit bones right now?

Do you ever wake up with a sore throat, but work doesn’t pause?

When you’re not feeling 100%, self-care still matters — especially on workdays. Staying hydrated and choosing soothing drinks can help support your energy, focus, and comfort while you get through meetings and tasks.

Here are a few work-friendly teas we reach for on sick-but-working days:
• ginger tea — soothing and warming
• chamomile — calming and gentle
• peppermint — refreshing and helps breathing
• warm lemon + honey — simple and comforting

Small care habits like this can make a long workday feel a little easier.

Feeling a little stuck?

Long hours of sitting can quietly lead to stiffness, low energy, and nagging aches — not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because our bodies aren’t meant to stay still for so long.

That’s why small habits matter:
moving regularly, changing positions, and setting your workspace up to support movement instead of restricting it.

The right setup makes these habits easier to keep. Our Ergo Essentials Kit is designed to support posture, reduce daily strain, and make movement feel more natural throughout the workday.

You don’t need a full routine overhaul — just smarter support and consistent reminders to move.

Ever wonder why your back, neck, or shoulders always feel sore after work — even when you’re “just sitting”?

Posture like this, especially when done daily, puts constant strain on your spine, muscles, and joints. Over time, it doesn’t just cause discomfort — it can contribute to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) like chronic back pain, neck tension, shoulder issues, and nerve irritation.

The tricky part?
These issues don’t show up overnight. They build slowly — through hours of sitting with a rounded back, forward head posture, and unsupported arms.

The good news:
The earlier you address it, the easier it is to fix.

Small changes can make a big difference:
• better screen height
• proper back and arm support
• neutral wrist positioning
• regular movement and posture resets

That’s exactly where the Ergo Essentials Kit helps — it’s designed to support better alignment, reduce daily strain, and make healthier posture easier to maintain throughout long workdays.

Your body does a lot for you every day.
Supporting it early is one of the best long-term investments you can make.

Wrist pain isn’t “normal” - and no, it’s not just because you type a lot.
Most of the time, it comes from a keyboard or mouse that forces your wrists into awkward angles all day.

The good news?
A few small tweaks can take the pressure off your tendons and make your workday way more comfortable:

✨ Keep your wrists neutral (not bent up or down)
✨ Bring your mouse + keyboard closer
✨ Support your forearms
✨ Drop your shoulders — tension travels

Your wrists shouldn’t suffer for your workflow.
Fixing your setup is easier than you think — and your hands will feel the difference fast.

January reset, but let’s make it realistic.

Even with a good chair and a sit-stand desk, things can still feel off if your setup isn’t adjusted to your specific needs.

Ergonomic tools help—but posture, positioning, and daily habits matter just as much.

Small things add up:
• screen height slightly off
• chair not adjusted correctly
• standing or sitting too long
• forgetting to switch positions

A real January reset isn’t about buying more.
It’s about using what you have better — and supporting your body throughout the day.

Our Ergo Essentials Kit is designed to complement existing setups, helping fine-tune posture and reduce everyday strain where it matters most.
