Movement isn’t optional when you’ve got a hound staring at you šŸ‘€

If you don’t give your dog its daily movement, it’ll drive you nuts (and probably chew through your shoes šŸ˜…).

Truth is, we’re not much different.

Movement is medicine—whether it’s a walk with your pup, a stretch break between calls, or chasing your kids around the yard.

Everyone starts from where they are… but those steps add up. šŸš¶ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ•

Every busy man knows how the day runs away once it starts.
That’s why the smartest move you can make is before the stress kicks in:
ā˜• Coffee in hand.
šŸŒž Sunrise in your eyes.
5–10 minutes, that’s it.
Your body thanks you later with deeper sleep, lower inflammation, and a belly that no longer fights back against your belt.
Call it the most productive meeting of your day—between you, your coffee, and the sun.

Walking on the beach lowers inflammation 🌊🐦

Science shows that stress and inflammation are best friends — and visceral fat is their favorite hangout spot.

That belly fat doesn’t just sit there, it pumps inflammatory chemicals through your body 24/7.

Now here’s the magic: when you walk barefoot on the beach, a few things happen:

āœ… The negative ions in ocean air calm your nervous system.
āœ… The rhythmic waves and movement lower cortisol.
āœ… Direct contact with the earth (grounding) helps balance your body’s electrical charge.

Result? Less systemic inflammation → better blood sugar control → reduced visceral fat storage.

Even this little bird knows: movement + nature = medicine.

šŸ‘‰ Next time you want to fight belly fat and inflammation, skip the treadmill and take a walk by the water.

* No water? The forest or a park work great too

šŸ”„ Your First Meal = Your Daily Edge šŸ”„

Here’s the truth most people don’t want to hear:
Your first meal sets the tone for your entire day.

Start your morning with cereal, bagels, or oatmeal? You’re pouring sugar on the fire. It feels good for about 30 minutes… then you’re yawning, craving coffee, and wondering why you’re starving by 10am.

But start with protein + fat — 35–50 grams of quality protein (think steak and eggs) — and everything changes.

āœ… Your blood sugar stays stable.
āœ… Energy doesn’t crash.
āœ… Hunger stays in check.
āœ… Focus stays sharp.

Do it for 7 days and watch what happens:

* That mid-morning ā€œI need a snackā€ disappears.
* The brain fog lifts.
* Your belt feels a little looser.
* You start showing up differently at work, at the gym, and at home.

This isn’t a diet. It’s not punishment.
It’s about fueling your body like it was designed to be fueled.

So here’s my challenge to you:
šŸ‘‰ Swap the carbs for protein + fat at breakfast for 7 days.
šŸ‘‰ Pay attention to how you feel by lunch.
šŸ‘‰ If you like the difference — keep it rolling into lunch and dinner.

You’ll be shocked how quickly the belly fat (that’s really just inflammation) starts to lose its grip once you stop feeding the fire.

āš”ļø Start the day strong. Perform at your peak. Fuel like a man built for more.

Right now, if you’re healthy, your body only has about "1 teaspoon (4 grams)" of sugar in your entire bloodstream.

That’s the sweet spot your body works hard to maintain.

Now imagine what happens when you start pouring more sugar in through sodas, bread, cereal, ā€œhealthyā€ granola bars, pasta, or even that giant bowl of rice.

Your body has to scramble to move the extra sugar somewhere.

First stop? Your muscles and liver—they store it as glycogen. But those tanks fill up quick.

After that? It’s converted and stored as fat.

And when your system gets overwhelmed and can’t clear it fast enough, the sugar builds up in your blood.

That’s when damage starts—think inflammation, damaged blood vessels, insulin resistance… the road to diabetes.

šŸ‘‰ Fun fact: It doesn’t matter if it’s soda, orange juice, or ā€œorganic agaveā€ — once it hits your bloodstream, your body only sees one thing: "Glucose"

šŸ‘‰ And those so-called ā€œhealthyā€ foods? Rice cakes, gluten-free crackers, oatmeal, even some smoothies — your body breaks them down into sugar just the same.

Here’s the kicker: there’s no such thing as being ā€œa little diabetic.ā€ Just like you can’t be ā€œa little pregnant.ā€

Either your body is keeping blood sugar in balance… or it’s not.

So next time you see that one teaspoon, remember — you’re only ever one step away from tipping the balance.

The good news? You can absolutely turn it around with the right nutrition and lifestyle shifts.

I’ve seen hundreds of people do it.

Men — that belly isn’t just a ā€œbeer gutā€ or ā€œdad bod.ā€

It’s visceral fat… the toxic kind that wraps around your organs and pumps inflammation through your whole body.

Inflammation is the silent spark behind nearly every disease men face today:

• Diabetes & heart disease
• Joint & muscle pain
• Fatigue, brain fog & ED
• Enlarged prostate, arthritis, even Alzheimer’s and cancers

That belly isn’t about vanity — it’s about survival.

But here’s the thing: this isn’t permanent. You can change it.

By shifting what you put into your body (nutrition), your mind (stress), and your daily life (lifestyle), you can reverse the fire and reclaim the energy and vitality you thought was gone forever.

This weekend I’ve opened 3 spots for men ready to drop the fat and reignite their energy.

šŸ‘‰ Book your spot before Sunday night.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR FREE CONSULTATION? Just shoot me a quick DM before the end of Sunday and I’ll send you a personal link to book a call directly with me.

ā€œWhat if it’s simpler than you think? What if just changing what you put into your body and how you start your day could turn back the clock — giving you the energy, clarity, and drive you once had?

The man you want to be is still in there. He just needs you to take the first step.ā€

You don’t need another diet. You need more protein.

Most men think protein is just for muscle… but it’s the foundation of energy, focus, and fat loss.

When you consistently hit at least 100 grams a day (about 30–35 grams per meal), you’re giving your body what it needs to:

šŸ’Ŗ Build and keep muscle (your best fat-burning engine)
⚔ Boost energy and metabolism for better body composition
🧠 Think clearer, sleep deeper, and feel sharper
šŸ›”ļø Repair, restore, and reduce inflammation at the cellular level

This isn’t about dieting.

It’s about fueling your body so you can stay leaner, stronger, and full of energy — to show up fully for every workout, adventure, and milestone in life.

Ever wonder why your ā€œpure spring waterā€ tastes like it’s been aged in a plastic barrel?

Those bottles aren’t just hydrating you — they’re marinating you in microplastics and forever chemicals. 🄓

šŸ’” Tip: If it’s been baking outside like a forgotten grocery store rotisserie chicken, skip it.

🌊 58 and Riding the Wave 🌊 Kinda :)

Today hits different. My dad passed away at 58 after years of health struggles.

I’m 58 today… but instead of struggling, I’m out here surfing, healthier and fitter than I’ve ever been.

10 years ago, I made a choice to turn my health around — and it changed everything.

If I can do it, so can you.

Prioritize yourself first.

Fill your own cup so you have something to pour into the people you love most.

Life’s too short to sit on the sidelines.

Get out there and ride your wave. šŸ„ā€ā™‚ļø

"If you're still cooking with canola, soybean, or vegetable oil... I’ve got bad news.

These oils aren’t just unhealthy — they’re straight-up toxic.

They’re industrial byproducts, loaded with omega-6s like linoleic acid that oxidize in your body and create toxic compounds that inflame your cells, damage your mitochondria, and age you from the inside out.

And here’s the kicker...

Linoleic acid has a half-life of over 600 days.

That means even if you stop today, it can take YEARS to fully clear from your fat cells.

Think joint pain, insulin resistance, stubborn belly fat, brain fog, hormonal chaos — all tied back to this stuff.

The food industry pumped this garbage into everything from salad dressings to protein bars — and called it ā€˜heart healthy.’

What to do? Start here:

āŒ Toss the canola, corn, soy, safflower, and 'vegetable oil'

āœ… Swap in grass-fed tallow, coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, ghee, butter — fats your ancestors actually ate.

It’s not about going low-fat — it’s about going real fat.

šŸ“TRAVELING? STUCK WITH FAST FOOD? READ THIS šŸ‘‡

One of my clients on our group call last week asked:

"Dave, what do I do when I’m traveling, and all I see are fast food joints?"

Now, you and I both know that the drive-thru life isn’t ideal…

But sometimes, when you're staring down a glowing sign for McDonald's at 9pm in the middle of nowhere, you’ve gotta play defense.

So, here's my motto for situations like this:

ā€œMake the best out of a bad situation — then move on.ā€

That means sticking with REAL FOOD principles even when your options are limited.

šŸ”„ Bunless burgers (skip the sauces & cheese)
šŸ”„ Grilled chicken over lettuce (ditch the dressing)
šŸ”„ Double protein bowls (think Chipotle-style: greens, chicken, avocado)
šŸ”„ Apple slices, plain baked potatoes, side salads
šŸ”„ Grocery store hacks: cooked chicken, berries, olives, guac cups, carrots, clean deli meat

We’re not chasing perfect. We’re chasing non-inflammatory, ancestrally aligned, and less processed.

And when it comes to packing your own fuel, keep it simple:

šŸ„‘ Avocados, olives, coconut butter
šŸ“ Grilled chicken or turkey
🐟 Wild salmon or mackerel
🌰 Nuts & seeds (macadamia, Brazil, pumpkin)
🄄 Coconut chips, tahini, guac packs

No need for a PhD in nutrition—just eat how humans ate before we invented drive-thrus, preservatives, and flavor dust.

šŸ’” Pro tip: Keep travel packs of olive oil, lemon wedges, and sea salt in your bag.
You'll be shocked how easy it is to upgrade a sad salad into a healing meal.
