Everything in our internal world projects outwardly. The painful collective patterns we see on the world stage are also contained within us, all in varying degrees. The unexpressed anger, disgust, sadness, grief, shame, fear, is playing itself out individually through our thoughts, our behaviors, our habits and relationships on a daily basis.
How can we set an example for the world if we are divided within?
Do you see divisiveness in the world?
Where are you dividing yourself within?
Do you hear voices being suppressed for having a difference in opinion?
What parts of yourself are you not allowing to be heard?
Do you wish to see people speaking to one another with love and kindness?
Where are you still reacting to yourself with judgement and shame ?
Do you wish to see all parts of the world forgive one another?
Where do you need to forgive yourself?
Do you wish for others to feel safe?
How are you creating room for more safety internally?
When you start to connect to all parts of yourself with more love, care and forgiveness, you allow others to do the same.
Ofcourse, healing the world at large is much more complex, but if emotional intelligence is always at the core of our motives it is a powerful step in the right direction.
