Stress is running more and more rampant these days. The effects of chronic stress are insidious and can affect every system in your body. Here’s a few of them:
🔻inability to focus
🔻tense muscles
🔻sleep disturbances
🔻tachicardia
🔻irritability / anxiety
🔻sadness / depression
🔻digestive problems

Dear Ones,

I’m beyond honored to again host Paul Livingstone and ensemble here in my yoga space at home for another magical evening of music! Please see details of this concert on the flyer below.

I had the pleasure of hosting the amazing talent of Paul Livingstone (on sitar), his wife Alma Cielo (on sarangi and tamboura), and Miles Shrewsbery (on tabla) back in August. We were then full to capacity and the audience was transported by their musical skills and artistry. On their return to San Diego in November, they will be joined by cellist Peter Jacobson for another unforgettable performance.

Sangam is the chamber music duo of Paul and Peter, they’ve been recording and touring together for more than 18 years and have featured in several Grammy award-winning records.

I hope you will join us for this opportunity to appreciate these incredibly gifted musicians!

Can you hear ☀️SUMMER ☀️calling?!? The beach,🏖️the hikes🥾, the Summer vacation trips🛫🚗. I hope you get to enjoy all of that while remaining steadfastly connected to your yoga practice.🛜 If you have to miss a class or two,🤷🏻‍♀️practice on your own! ⏳Got a moment at the airport (like Swami Prajñananda in the pics), in the plane, on the trail, in your hotel room?⏰Take the time for some asanas, breathing, or a short meditation to reboot. Be creative with the space and props available and improvise. You will be surprised with the ingenious and fun solutions you will come up with.✨💡✨When you discover how portable/adaptable your yoga practice is, you realize you don’t have to stay away from it. 😌🙏✨In the ta***ic yoga and meditation that I practice and teach, initiation from a master, or shaktipat diksha, can boost the ascension of a meditative power, Kundalini Shakti, present in all of us. My teacher, Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati (Gurudevi) is such a master. Asana practice releases your spinal muscles and paves the way for this inner awakening. And makes you more comfortable to sit for meditation. Once awake, Kundalini then ascends your spine like a lightening bolt or a plant gradually reaching up to the Sun. This process uplifts you and dissolves physical, mental, and emotional patterns of contraction. You find your own Self and an ease of being which is present even when life is hard.
