Nothing can prepare you for losing someone you love. My mom was the best person I ever knew. She loved hard. She made every person feel like the most important person in the world. She would be there at the drop of a dime to help anybody who needed it. She loved my dad, sister, brother and I, and she poured EVERYTHING SHE HAD into her grandkids.
Above all else, my mom was a WARRIOR for Jesus. She wasn’t an “I’ll pray for you” person, she was a “Let’s pray right now” person.
Our family is incredibly grateful for all the love and support we’ve received since my mom passed early Saturday morning. I apologize that I haven’t responded to texts or calls. Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that she’s no longer with us here on earth.
One thing I do know is, even though the people she left behind are hurting, it’s a happy ending because she’s celebrating with Nicky, Piper, Pepper and Rudy up there in paradise.
Please come celebrate her legacy if you can make it. She loved everybody, and we’d love to have y’all there to celebrate with us.
Love you mama. This isn’t goodbye, it’s I’ll see you in heaven some day 🫶🏾✌🏾
