Does choosing something to eat stress you out? 😥 Does the thought of eating something you didn’t prepare yourself make you anxious?

If so, you may be dealing with disordered eating. Being able to identify your triggers is a key step in untangling your disordered eating thoughts.💭

While there is no definitive list of food sensitivities associated with fibromyalgia, these 5 foods are commonly reported sensitivities among fibro warriors:

1. Gluten
2. Dairy
3. Nightshades
4. Caffeine
5. Artificial Sweeteners

These foods could be increasing your symptoms! 🤯 OR they could have absolutely NO effect on your symptoms at all! Thats is why it is so important to work with a professional if you aren’t sure which foods you’re intolerant to👇🏼

Did you know that your some of your fibro symptoms might also be signs of disordered eating?🧐

Disordered eating symptoms often overlap with those of chronic pain conditions, like Fibromyalgia.🦋

These include stomach pain, bloating, heartburn, diarrhea, consipation, and nausea. These symptoms make eating difficult and can lead to loss of appetite, food intolerances, and even fear of certain foods.

One study even found that 20% of young adults referred to an eating disorder program already had a chronic pain diagnosis!🤯

By working on your relationship with food and your body, you can improve your fibro symptoms AND your quality of life.🤍

Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder that’s both difficult to diagnose and difficult to treat. (Trust me, I’ve been in your shoes!)🤍

Hey, how are you?!👋🏼

My name is Rachel and I’m the Fibromyalgia Nutritionist here to help women with Fibromyalgia repair their relationship with food and their body through intuitive eating principles!🍓🍰

(I’m also here to be your chronically ill bestie because I GET IT, girl!🦋🤍)

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in high school and have been living with it for OVER 10 years! I battled with my own disordered eating as I tried to cope with my diagnosis and have cut out just about every food group at some point thinking it would “heal” my Fibro.🫶🏼

Throughout this journey I have educated myself on the science behind the human body and have earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, master’s in integrative wellness, become a certified health coach and I’m currently studying for my registered dietitian exam!📖

With 7 years of education behind me, I now know what can ACTUALLY help Fibro and what can’t. I’m so excited to share my knowledge with you and break down some diet culture myths!👏🏼

I am so eager to launch my 1:1 coaching program SOON and I can’t wait to meet YOU!✨
