In July 2024, our KPRNA Affiliate's UNAC/UHCP registered nurse was denied her lactation break and accommodations, despite federal and state laws protecting lactating mothers' workplace rights. Management forced her to work past her shift and denied her lactation break, prompting healthcare professionals from NCAL to SCAL to stand in solidarity.
