As the founder of Miss Extraordinaire, my heart is overflowing with pride today. 💖 At Escondido City Hall, in San Diego California; Mayor Dane White recognized the 2025 Miss Extraordinaire recipients who recently won at the pageant in Irvine, California.

What moved me most was seeing these incredible individuals with all different abilities stand before City Council—just as they stood on our stage—with confidence, resilience, and strength. It takes so much courage to get up there, share who you are, and shine unapologetically. 🌟

That is exactly why Miss Extraordinaire was created: to give individuals with disabilities a platform where their voices are heard, their gifts are celebrated, and their extraordinary spirits can inspire entire communities.

Today was a powerful reminder that the ripple effect of their courage reaches far beyond the stage—it transforms hearts, opens minds, and changes the world. 💕

✨ At Miss Extraordinaire, we take our role in celebrating and uplifting each participant very seriously. ✨

To ensure the highest standards of fairness, transparency, and professionalism, we are proud to announce that we will now be tabulating all pageant scores using Tally Genie – a professional scoring system trusted by many of the nation’s largest pageant organizations, including Miss USA and Miss Universe.

For those unfamiliar, Tally Genie allows judges to enter scores electronically, automatically tabulates results in real-time, and ensures every contestant’s results are accurate and transparent.

This picture means so much to me. It’s me with my dear friend and co-director, Staci, who has been such a vital part of the journey to bring Miss Extraordinaire to Texas.

The truth is, there were moments over the past six weeks when I wanted to give up. But Staci never let me. She kept reminding me to press forward, to keep trying, and most importantly, to trust God’s timing. And in the last 24 hours, God has shown up in powerful ways for Miss Extraordinaire Texas. 💙

I want to take a moment to thank Staci—not just as a co-director, but as a friend who never lets me quit on my dreams. She’s the one who will call me back when I need her, who always shows up, and who continues to believe in this mission with her whole heart.

And to her entire family—her husband, kids, mom, and dad—thank you for standing behind Miss Extraordinaire since the very beginning. Thank you for getting on airplanes, staying in hotels and so much more. Your support has carried us further than you know. ❤️

As of today, we have several contestants registered, and y’all… we are proud to say, “We will officially be hosting a Miss Extraordinaire Texas pageant! “🎉✨

I can’t wait to see what God does in these next two months leading us up to this day. The best is yet to come Texas!

This moment — being crowned Ms. Escondido 2025 — is more than a crown. If you look closely, you’ll see the glow. That glow is determination.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been asked:
“Why take Miss Extraordinaire to Texas? Didn’t you just hold a pageant in July?”

Let me be clear: Miss Extraordinaire is more than a pageant. It’s a God-given mission.

This isn’t a once-a-year, cookie-cutter event. It’s a platform to honor individuals of all abilities while boldly sharing the name of Jesus Christ. And God has made it clear — this mission is going national.

Being crowned Ms. Escondido has given me a platform to expand Miss Extraordinaire beyond California — into Texas, and soon across the country. I take no credit. I am simply an instrument. God is the Director. Every step aligns with His plan, and the fruit has been nothing short of blessing.

So, if you’re wondering why Texas — sit back, relax, and watch God work. This is only the beginning. Miss Extraordinaire is growing, not for our glory, but for His glory, and hundreds more lives will be touched through this movement.

More crowns. More sashes. More celebrations of individuals who are differently-abled. And above all, more opportunities to share the hope of Jesus Christ. 🙌

✨ What an amazing day celebrating 92025 Day in the heart of Escondido! ✨

We were so proud to show up with some of our beautiful Miss Extraordinaire Queens, our very own Gwen, and our director – now officially Ms. Escondido 2025! 👑

It was such a special experience spending time with Mayor Dane White & the city’s postmaster, in addition to wonderful members of our community. 💙 Escondido truly knows how to come together in celebration, and we’re grateful to be part of it.
