In this journey of life, every person we meet carries a purpose.
Some will test you, challenging your patience and self-control. In Buddhism, these people are your hidden teachers—they help you practice mindfulness, tolerance, and compassion.

Some will use you, teaching you the importance of boundaries and self-respect. Without them, you may never learn how to value your own worth.

Some will love you, showing you the beauty of connection, kindness, and care. Their presence is a reminder of the joy of giving and receiving with an open heart.

Some will teach you, directly or indirectly, offering wisdom, lessons, and experiences that shape who you are becoming.

But the most precious ones are those who bring out the best in you. They inspire you to grow, to be kinder, to live with purpose, and to walk the path of peace. In Buddhism, such people are like “spiritual friends” (kalyāṇa-mitta)—rare and invaluable, guiding you closer to wisdom and compassion.

✨ Treasure them. Appreciate them. Learn from them. For in the end, every soul you cross paths with—whether in kindness or hardship—contributes to your journey of awakening.
