Aire Urban Fitness Thank you to all my supporters at Aire. I feel GREAT today! Just got back from a jog with my big dog and love how I am feeling. I have stamina and actually am enjoying exercise. Aire Urban Fitness. Hey friends and fitness enthusiasts! When I am not waxing or doing skin care, I am being a mom to a 7 year old who is the light of my world. One way I am supporting her is sharing in the all American past time of Girl Scouts. This will be her first year selling Girl Scout Cookies which start today. A lot of my clients have been seeing breakouts this week. The heat is probably the cause, amongst other things like stress (of course!) A good remedy for breakout caused by heat is to cool your skin down with a cold bottle of water or cold cotton pads. You can make an easy solution out of a mix of 50/50 witch hazel and distilled water and put it in the fridge. When you are hot, take some and saturate the cotton with it and wipe down the breakout zone. You can also put the mixture in a spritz bottle and spray your face with it.

Here is some info that I have known for years. Please beware of this ingredient always. The skin care line I just reviewed also has sulfates in it. There are some much better choices out there. If you want to know more, don't hesitate to ask. I am always happy to review any products for you.

Clogged Pores
Isopropyl palmitate can clog the pores, resulting in the appearance of dermatological conditions such as whiteheads and blackheads. The thickness of the chemicals in IPP can deprive the skin of nutrients such as as oxygen. If the skin doesn't breathe, your pores can become clogged, and healthy skin cells can die. This can also lead to dry, flaky skin.
