AOA's Vision Rehabilitation Section partnered with the California Optometric Association (COA) VRS at this year's 2013 Optometry’s Meeting® in San Diego. This year’s 2013 VRS Member Forum theme was “The Latest Advancements in Vision Rehabilitation Products.” The forum provided an intimate venue that allowed companies the opportunity to showcase their latest products in the industry and allowed open exchange with members. The program included an interactive agenda for companies to educate and share their new advancements or products within the field of vision rehabilitation.

Where are you getting your continuing education on Brain Injury? The visual anomalies from brain injury are primarily optometric; as the deficits occur in the oculomotor, binocular and accommodative systems. Optometrists are very familiar with these systems, so a description of brain injury visual deficits and associated treatment will greatly enhance an ODs confidence in managing this patient population.
