Beeswax wraps

My first beeswax wraps were probably a decade ago.

I was so excited to be able to start eliminating plastic on my food. Because yuck.

What’s so great about the wraps? Well, it really can impact your plastic consumption.

How do you use them? You are going to ball one up and ‘activate’ its stickiness. Then you will place it over a bowl, around cheese, over a fruit or vegetable and use your hands warmth to make it stick.

Easy peasy.
•
You can look up folding them online to make pouches and all sorts of other interesting configurations.
•
At just $13 for this 3pack you are good to go for quite a while.
•
After use, wash with cool soapy water, air try. Store folded or rolled on your drawer.
•
After a year or so, depending on use, they may need a touch up. This summer you will be able to purchase a touch up disc. Keep that sustainability going!

Good for all things but raw meat. If you ever do something that gives you the icks, toss it in your composter vs the trash.
•
