Wandering through the art district, taking in the beauty, the creativity, and yes… even trying escargot 🐌—every moment felt like an adventure together.

Standing beneath the Eiffel Tower, I found myself just pausing and taking it all in… grateful for this time, this connection, this season.

No rush, no distractions… just memories being made.

Truly priceless ❤️

Some days you don’t just learn history, you feel it.

Started in Portsmouth at the D-Day Museum, then crossed the English Channel, knowing what those waters once carried. Arriving in Caen made it all feel more real.

Today was powerful.
Arromanches and the 360° cinema standing in the middle of it all, watching the story unfold around us.
Then the beaches… Omaha especially. Quiet, expansive, and heavy in a way that’s hard to put into words.

We had lunch right there, such a contrast to what once was.
And then the Normandy American Cemetery… row after row, perfectly kept, deeply moving. You can’t walk through without it staying with you.

Grateful to experience this with my son. These are the moments that go beyond sightseeing , they shape perspective, gratitude, and understanding in a way nothing else can.

Spent the past 4 days at the Harmony Within IFS Conference in St. Charles, Illinois and I’m leaving feeling deeply inspired, refreshed, and even more committed to the work I do. The highlight was learning directly from Dr. Richard Schwartz, the founder of Internal Family Systems (IFS). Being in the room with the person who created a model that is transforming therapy , and lives, was truly special. IFS continues to stand out to me because of its non-pathologizing, compassionate approach. It helps us understand ourselves in a deeper way… not as “broken,” but as complex, meaningful, and capable of healing and growth. I’m always committed to learning, growing, and bringing the best of what I discover back into my practice. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or curious about understanding yourself more deeply, this work can be truly life-changing.
And yes… I even snuck in a few peaceful bike rides to take in the beauty of the area 🚲

It’s so easy to get caught up in the routine of life: meals, schedules, errands, without really connecting with the person we love the most. This month, a little reminder: love isn’t just in the grand gestures, it’s in the time you set aside to just be together. This Valentine’s season (or any season!) is the perfect excuse to make your relationship a priority, plan something different, laugh a little, explore a little, and just enjoy each other. ❤️

Sometimes we don’t avoid conflict because we’re weak,
We avoid it because somewhere along the way we learned that speaking up wasn’t safe.

Avoidance can look like:
• Staying quiet to “keep the peace”
• Letting things go… even when they still hurt
• Smiling while feeling unseen
• Telling yourself “it’s not a big deal” when it is

But here’s the truth:
Avoiding conflict doesn’t protect relationships , it slowly erases you inside of them.

Healthy conflict isn’t about being harsh.
It’s about being honest, kind, and brave at the same time.

Growth often sounds like:
“I care about us, and I need to say something.”
“That didn’t sit right with me.”
“I want to understand you, and I want to be understood.”

Your voice matters.
Your needs matter.
And learning to speak with both courage and compassion is one of the most powerful forms of healing.
