(Mountain Health) is a private, non-profit community health center organization that provides comprehensive primary health care, behavioral health services, health education, and community services to both rural and urban communities with a focus on those in need due to economic, social or cultural barriers. Mountain Health maintains comprehensive primary care clinics in Campo, Alpine, Escondido, and San Diego. Also, Mountain Health operates the Mountain Empire Community Center in Campo which coordinates a senior meal program and senior transportation, operates a food pantry, and offers a variety of on-site programs for residents of all ages. Mountain Health is dedicated to continually improving the quality of its services, and does so through adopting new technologies, developing new programs, providing staff with ongoing training opportunities, and learning from others in the field. Hours:
Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm for all locations. Alpine is open most Saturdays 8:30am-5pm (please call for specific dates). After Hours Care:
There is a physician available 24/7 hour 365 days of the year. Call 619-445-6200 to get the answering services, who will contact the on-call physician.
