This influencer is threatening to publicly discredit us to his 555k followers and tell them not to order from us because we won’t gift him our $1000 product.

We have gifted many Hot Yoga Domes over the years to people who have health issues, people who have lost their jobs, charities and other causes when and where we were able to.

We are sharing these messages publicly so that people can decide for themselves whether our brand is acting morally/ethically or not in this case.

He claims that our silence, and saying no to his request, is disrespectful.

The messages show that we initially offered him a $100 discount in 2020 when we had a 12 week backlog of hot yogis who were desperate for our product because all of the studios were closed. We felt we should service these customers first and foremost.

We later offered him a generous 50% discount which it seems he didn’t feel was generous enough.

We are a husband and wife owned company and we feel it is our right who we gift our product to. We have worked with many great influencers over the years and we feel it is a mutual choice whether both teams want to work together.

We are not going to be bullied in to giving away our product just because someone threatens us with bad publicity. The public and our followers can decide for themselves using the actual messages whether or not we have behaved in a fair way.
