CBCT computer guided surgery is a dental implant procedure that uses a cone beam CT (CBCT) scan to create a 3D image of the jaw and surrounding structures:
1. CBCT scan
A CBCT scan is a type of X-ray that produces a 3D image of the jaw, similar to a medical CAT scan. The scan provides detailed information about the bone, soft tissue, and vital structures like nerves and sinuses. 2. Intraoral scan
A series of photographs are taken of the teeth and gums to create an image of their surfaces.
3. Software planning
Invivo Anatomage Software is used to plan the surgery by merging the CBCT and intraoral scan images. The software allows Dr. Nosrati to visualize the jawbone, implants, and surrounding tissue to plan the most accurate treatment. Dr. Nosrati was one of the first in the US to utilize guided surgeries with the Invivo Anatomage program, and we use it in the office Everyday! We have one of the highest success rate and accuracy of implant placement in the world.

Cemental tear on #24- 8mm pocketing and pus. Cleaning of defect and tear, bone grafting with biologics and membrane. Pointed arrow is day of surgery. Last picture is the 5 year follow up - we have regenerated the bone and pocket is 3 mm.
