Happiness
In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous.
~ Aristotle

For Me - Butterfly’s~ With Wings Fly Gracefully Free In the Air Reminding Me Of Gods Presence Protection and Peace In My Life~

Aristotle
Who spent much of his life observing the world closely, from the stars in the sky to many creatures of land and sea. These words come from his biological writings, wherein he argued that even the most innocuous parts of the natural world — such as bugs, leaves, and dirt — reveal something beautiful when we look closely. Nature doesn’t work by accident; everything has a purpose, and even the smallest parts contribute to the larger whole. More than 2,000 years later, the ancient Greek philosopher’s sentiment still rings true: Grandiosity isn’t required for something to be awe-inspiring. Sometimes, life’s greatest marvels are found in the simple things.

Focus on what you have

Being thankful for what we have in life doesn't leave time to dwell on all the things we don't have. Gratitude can fill the emotional voids consumerism can't, and comparison never will.

Colossians 3:2 will help us “set our minds on things above, not on earthly things” Focus your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Messiah in God. When Messiah, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him, in glory! So as we maneuver through life's temptations, refocusing our minds can begin with the remarkable power of this verse.
Another scripture I find very helpful…
is Micah 6:8 it is a clear, crisp, and simple summary of what God expects from you and me. These three things that matter so much to God and are the very three things God wants to see in us: justice, kindness, and humility. To act justly is to treat people fairly and respectfully. You do not oppress or mistreat others.

Lord, You make sure to keep me growing and maturing in my relationship with You. Thank You for that.

Sin separates us from God, and we are to run far from it …entirely! How? I’ve asked myself this question, so many times, especially when I live in this world that keeps drawing me closer to itself! We must separate ourselves from worldly activities that can cause us to step away from the path of righteousness. Sometimes that means we must also separate ourselves from people and lifestyles that lead us into temptation. If we keep our focus on Jesus, walking close to Him so that we are not pulled away into a life of sin He will help us through His Spirit! We can also turn to scripture and seek guidance from the Holy Scriptures where His Spirit is alive through words Jesus left for us, we are not left alone to contend by ourselves, we do hand a helper… So when confronted with temptation, run… run to the one who is there for you!

How many times have you come up with great plans only for them to fail. It's our human nature to come up with plans, thoughts, and goals for the future. But we need to realize God is the only one who truly knows what's best for us. When you have plans you would like to make, or actions you need to take about a particular decision, make sure that you go to God first.

I have a simple request for you today… I want you to write down five blessingsyou can see in your life.

Even if your in a stormy season in your life,
try to see past the trials.

I know very well in my own experiences that isn’t always the easiest thing to do, focusing on God’s blessings, even while in the storm.
but I am encouraging you to try.

Praise can be difficult. While our focus is on our problems, and it is hard that we can’t see all the blessings in our lives. We’re worried and fearful, stress abba anxiety filled our hearts, and our heart s are not full of joy and praise.
Yet, this is exactly when we need to focus our hearts and minds and souls on praising God.

In Psalm 34, written by David after a particularly stormy season in his life. He had learned that Saul intended to kill him. So he fled from the king. He faced dangers on his way, even pretended to be crazy so another king would let him go.

This Psalm is David’s reminder to focus our hearts to praise God in the storm, even when we’re in the midst of battle and running for our lives. Praise God first and trust that God will protect those who worship and obey him.

This is how God wants us to live, with praise always on our lips.

Here is a note thought;
If you surround yourself with those who are complaining, grumbling about life & speaking words of blame, you’ll fill your heart with those feelings.

But, if you surround yourself with people who are speaking words of life, speaking praise worthy thoughts of God. Those who are believing in God’s power, filling their hearts up with God…then you too can keep your eyes fixed on him by practicing the same thoughts!

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; Their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, And he delivers them.”
Psalm 34:4-7 (NIV)

Our problems don’t just go away, but our gaze shifts from our problems to God. When we fix our eyes on God the problems of this world begin to fade away. When praise pours out of our mouths, joy begins to fill our hearts.

Making a mistake doesn't automatically count as failing. We fail when we choose not to learn from our mistakes. We can learn more from our mistakes than we can from our successes. Patience, humility, discernment, and wisdom are some of the fruit we gather when we learn from our mistakes. Remember, learning is empowering even when pain is the teacher
