A sunset improvisation on a newly retuned Sansula Melody which has a standard tuning of G Mamor but I shifted it to G Minor Pentatonic at the request of one of my customers.

something I really love about kalimbas is that you can read to them pretty easily once you learn how. I taught myself and you can too! It’s simple with the right tools which I can share with you if you like, just message me.

Sansulas come 2 models, the 11 note one ole this one and 9 note version that is so lovely as well.

Electro Lyra has a very unique sound, especially with a little reverb thrown in! This instrument is electric so needs to be plugged into a speaker but that’s not as complex as you might think. Ask me how!

The Electro Lyra is handcrafted by Ben Ruch of Cascadia Instruments in Portland, Oregon. Ben is a gifted maker, creating many types custom string instruments. Some of them are pretty rad! We think this one is too. ❤️

Check it out on the Beautiful Sounds website! This one is a version of the Hybrid model which combines bass strings with nylon strings - it has two super bassy too notes. Love it!
