East West Healing Space

East West Healing Space Healing through laughter, art and Chinese medicine. We can learn to de-stress, age gracefully and joyfully.

We honor the wisdom passed down from our elders across the globe - from ancient Chinese practices such as qigong, to Native American ceremonial wisdom, to western herbal traditions, Indian mantras, sound healing - and more. While we respect western medicine and the miracles it offers, our primary focus is to complete the picture of what "healing" means by including those things which the west considers "alternative". Making art is therapy. It's also a way to focus on the present moment, which is an antidote to the madness.
So stop thinking that you're not an artist. Art is gardening. Art is arranging stones in a pathway, or on the beach. Art is done with crayons and pencils, with singing in the shower, with taking what you feel inside of you and letting it come out, in whatever way works for you. It has nothing to do with being able to draw a straight line.

‘I don’t know who God is exactly.
But I’ll tell you this.
I was sitting in the river named Clarion, on a water splashed stone
and all afternoon I listened to the voices of the river talking.
Whenever the water struck a stone it had something to say,
and the water itself, and even the mosses trailing under the water.
And slowly, very slowly, it became clear to me what they were saying.
Said the river I am part of holiness.
And I too, said the stone. And I too, whispered the moss beneath the water.’

Sometimes you just have to experiment with the unknown. I bought some paper that was clearly not for pastels, but it was in an unmarked drawer at Blick's. I'm amazed at how many layers it took!!!

Surround yourself with all that brings you peace, joy, and a sense of belonging. Let your home become more than four walls and a roof, let it be a sanctuary where your heart feels safe, your mind finds clarity, and your spirit is free to breathe.

Fill your space intentionally, with the scents, colors, textures, and memories that soothe your soul. Let the light in, both literally and metaphorically, and allow each room to reflect your truest self.

In this sacred space, may you find not only rest, but renewal; not just shelter, but serenity. Let your home be a quiet celebration of who you are and all that you love, a daily reminder that peace begins within and radiates outward.

The mind is there to serve, not to master.

We have been raised to think of medicine as something external to ourselves - the doctor, the drugs, etc. But what if you harnessed your own innate ability to heal? Through our signature program “Roots and Wings Qigong Sound Healing”, we teach our step-by-step, proven method to heal body, mind, emotions and spirit.
