Happy to improve the smile for a fellow dentist by replacing a single broken veneer. He had a 1mm size discrepancy between the two centrals, so playing with the line angles helped give the illusion that they are similar in size.

A before and after of a case recently completed. I love how I was able to immediately boost my patient’s confidence by giving her smile back. She had to live with these discolored fillings for the last 7 years, and wanted something more stable and permanent. Multiple things were addressed to achieve a harmonious smile, but only the two front teeth required minimal drilling to place lifelike veneers. These white and brown spots were treated using a combination of ICON resin infiltration and composite fillings after our patient completed her orthodontic care. These spots can occur during braces depending on diet and hygiene, and ICON is a very conservative method that requires no drilling or numbing. The best results come when they are treated as early as possible.

Dental photography is a valuable tool in our dental practice. Sometimes our eyes can become fatigued after a procedure and we miss small details. The photo below is immediately after Dr. Nguyen replaced an old composite filling to close the dark triangle and for improved esthetics. It allowed him to see additional areas that needed to be finished and polished.

Single central restorations are very difficult to match, particularly very characterized teeth. Kudos to our lab for being able to get it this close on the first try. Dr. Nguyen wanted to have it tweaked to be an even better match, but our patient was so thrilled, he insisted to keep it the way it is. If you feel like you could benefit by changing some old restorations, give our office a call!

All that glitters is really gold in our office. As much as he loves all ceramic restorations, Dr. Nguyen still believes gold has a place in dentistry. So did our patient in his 20s who requested these two to be made in gold. Dr. Nguyen hopes these will service his patient for life!

Not all dentures are created equally! Our patient was always self conscious about his smile because of his old denture. We were able to give him a natural smile and bring back his confidence!
