I write this every year...my gratitude post to this country: I was not born American. To become an American, I had to first apply for a green card, have a background check, then wait 10 years and then had to pass a test. Today, I am proud to be an American. I love this country where dreams can become a reality. Thank you America for adopting me. Happy Independence Day!🇺🇸🙏🏻

Our event is TOMORROW Sunday 3/8/20 at 0900 for the 4th Annual Camo for a Cause 5K-Restore Veteran’s hope for Life. Link for tickets on our website www.theunbattleproject.org. You can expect a beautiful course mapped out along the water. We have lots of fun activities planned starting at 0815: Color Guard, Anthem, Creeds, camouflage body painting demonstration, Choir, live band as well as live music on the trail to keep you pumped. We are excited to have SDSU cheerleaders cheer for you, a photographer taking some action shots, bounce house for the kids and lots of surprises. You can run, walk, or just come to support.
All participants will receive Cause 5k t-shirts, bibs, and finisher medals. Special medals for first man and woman!
100% of the proceeds goes directly back to supporting UP. ***de
