There was a period of my life when I was married, working for myself, and traveling to beautiful places…I had everything that should make me happy.
Travel was my escape.
It felt exciting until the moment I arrived — and shortly after the same problems, the same discomfort within myself, showed up right alongside me.
Different scenery, same unaddressed patterns.
Eventually, I stopped trying to outrun the parts of myself I didn’t want to look at.
I faced the shadows, the wounds, the marital issues, the behaviors that kept repeating.
And that’s when things actually changed — not because of the location I was sitting in, but because I finally shifted my inner world.
Now I can be anywhere — home or across the world — and feel grounded, clear, and at peace because I’m no longer carrying what I used to run from.
