💜 After my retirement community class, a woman named Ruth who just started coming to class came up to me. She said thank you so much. Then she told her friends in class "I feel transformed." I overheard and asked her about it. She said she has been through a lot lately and yoga is making her feel so much better.

It is these shared stories that make want to continue on this path of helping women feel good in their bodies and minds no matter what life brings. 🙏🏼

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

There are many things we can do to support our mental well-being—often through our external world:
Changing our environment, spending time in nature, clearing clutter, cleaning our homes, getting a massage, or calling a friend.

These small acts can have a big impact. They help calm the mind and soften the emotional load.
But true healing also requires us to go inward—to do a little inner housekeeping, so to speak.

This reminds me of something my youngest daughter used to do when she was about four or five. She’s always liked things neat and tidy, and she had this beautiful little wooden plant stand in her room with a glass door and shelves inside. She would regularly dust the outside of it and wipe the glass until it sparkled.
One day, she noticed there were still smudges on the glass. So, she opened the door, reached inside, and cleaned the inside of the glass.

That’s what yoga, breathwork, and meditation offer us:
A chance to open the door and polish from the inside.
To clear away old thoughts, stagnant energy, emotional buildup.
To reconnect with the part of ourselves that’s always been calm, clear, and whole—just waiting to be uncovered again.
