I remember someone once saying, “Imagine if all of your self-talk was played out loud for everyone to hear.”

Would they think you lived in a world where everything always is going to go your way, or one of gloom and doom?

If we could really work on controlling this one thing this year…imagine how differently this year could go.

Well, that’s the topic of today’s reel…all the voices in our head and how crazy they can get sometimes!

May yours only point out the most amazing things coming your way in 2022! Goodness knows we can take all the help we can get!

There are many ways to stay present in a conversation and stop it if it starts to derail.

Typically easier said than done. And while this is much of the teaching at One World Academy in India, I doubt they would approve of my video. 😂

I do know this for sure though, if we can slow down long enough to understand where someone is coming from and before reacting, asking them for clarification- we would all be a lot better off!

Todays chat was inspired by a conversation my daughter had (I use “conversation” loosely) when she was about eight years old.

We are never too young or too old to be reminded to think about our intention of what we are saying, before we say it.

The reason for this post, is to provide some perspective on possibility.

You see our goals are set by a reality that is based upon our past…from what we know to be true.

But what WAS true, has nothing to do with what IS possible.

As you may know I started this “31 days of posting” on January 1st. I don’t like being on camera, so 3 TikTok videos per day, was a good way to get me past that.

(It’s amazing how quickly you run through your best ideas at 21 per week. )

That said, I begged my daughters to follow me, so that I knew someone would watch!

The 2nd photo is from YESTERDAY morning.

The 3rd photo is a screen shot from just now, Sunday afternoon.

This is honestly the greatest illustration of anything being possible at any time.

So whatever your journey looks like, I hope it includes getting out of your comfort zone so that you can get closer to whatever dream it is you are chasing.

I am so grateful for the support here and on TikTok as it’s been an interesting week and I hope raises your bar for what can happen at any point in time. The only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves…this is the year for that to end.

I will post the video that went viral, tomorrow. (I have no idea why it did, so please don’t be looking forward to some masterpiece!) Suffice it to say that someone commented that in it, my shirt looked like it was from the 80’s. Which is why I wore a dress from the ‘70’s to say “thanks for watching.”

Your support now and for some of you, for many years, means the world to me.

Such great advice! Except when it hits you, “wait does that mean you are TOLERATING me?!”

Which I asked, as I was being written up, in fact, for being too animated! I didn’t realize there was an actual rule in the Fire Service books that limited talking with your hands. (Because there’s not.)

And apparently they said it was easy to spot me anywhere on the fire training ground by my hands moving around like a giant bird, as I talked.

Well, I made it out of the Academy, just as animated as when I went in.

But the advice is still valid. We should all be in a place and around people who truly Celebrate us, not tolerate us.

So here’s to all of my loud, flamboyant, animated friends…I celebrate you today and every day.

Never stop being you. There’s a glass of Champagne with your name on it. Cheers to being unapologetically YOU in 2022!!!

You know, the problem with what people think of the Law of Attraction, is that you should somehow get everything you want if you want it bad enough.

However, it doesn’t work that way. At all.

In fact, just the opposite if you are coming from a place of lack, and desperately want money. Because what you believe about yourself is that you are broke and in a very bad way.

As long as that belief exists, so will the lack of money or whatever it is you say you want.

So step one is believing that you are worthy of all of the greatness and blessings that are about to come your way.

In fact, most are already at your doorstep. You just need to start seeing every opportunity, as it may look different than what you had asked for.

Nonetheless, it’s there.

This IS your year.

You just need to BELIEVE it!

Well it’s been a minute. And by a minute I mean, about a year. So to start this year off right (as there’s a lot going on) I am doing a 31 day challenge with my friend - Lisa, posting on social media every day in January.

To make it more of a challenge is to be in front of the camera which I rarely do.

So this will be my best tips for getting the most out of 2022. Which I think most of us are going from “making lemonade out of lemons” we thought would be 2021 and turned that into a Lemon Drop for 2022.

Anyway, if you have any great tips, please share them with me in the comments or DM and I will include them!
