On this episode, my guest is Dr. Carolyn Lankford who has been a special education teacher and now runs afterschool programs for schools. What I find really amazing are all of the strategies that she found to help students be more attentive over the years. And they all revolve around positive reinforcement.

Attention training games that are fun to play is an important part of getting children to train regularly. While Imani's family struggled to find something to help her with reading, it was the games that she was willing to play regularly to get the benefits.

For those of us who love reading, seeing a child go from reading because they must to reading for pleasure is a true joy. That is what one grandparent who had her granddaughter using the Attention Arcade recently shared with me.
