Becoming the best version of yourself involves reprogramming your mind to not fall for addictive thought patterns that might’ve been implanted from your childhood, your upbringing or society👀
That negative self talk or story that you have on repeat, where did that come from? Not an easy task, but an important one if you want to take command of your mind, therefore life!👩🏻‍🎤
Meditation and journaling are great tools that I’ve used to help me see my thoughts for what they are and give them an big ole kick in the ass. Not to say I’m never negative, but I am able to recognize and climb out of the monkey brain trap much quicker with these tools!

Breath of 🔥 is one of my favorite conscious breathwork practices. I get a bolt of feel good energy flowing through me bones when I practice this. It energizes your blood, releases toxins and strengthens your immune system

I challenge you this week, anytime you have a tiny break from the world, maybe while taking the train to work or when your boyfriend gets up to use the bathroom at dinner to NOT look at your 📲👎🏼 Each time we immediately go to our phones during these pauses we are losing the opportunity for 🎶creativity to flow🎶 for FRESH ideas 💡 to come in 🧠for problems to be solved OR just an opportunity to be with our own thoughts and feelings and meditate on what is going on inside us. Beamer, Benz, or Bentley??🔥What’s your choice? Like a luxe whip, your brain requires premium fuel ⛽️ You wouldn’t fill your Bentley up with garbage ☠️ Filling your bag of bones with high quality foods protects the brain from oxidative stress, which means LESS STRESS for you 💆🏼‍♀️ And just like an expensive car, your brain can be damaged if you ingest anything other than premium fuel. If your an athlete 🏃🏼‍♀️what you fuel with is imperative for high function, but the same goes for anyone that needs to make decisions and anyone that wants to feel their best physically AND mentally🔥
If low premium fuel (processed foods or refined foods/sugar, unfiltered water- fluoride) get to the brain, it has little ability to get rid of them, this promotes inflammation and stress. The junk you fuel your body with directly effects your MOOD 😒 You cannot function at a high level if you’re fueling with processed FAKE fuel. If you want to feel your best physically AND mentally, treat your body like a Bentley not what’s in the junk yard and fill that baby with food that it deserves!

Soup kitchen! Soups are such an easy way to get a supreme amount of nutrients in the bod AND can be delicious. I love packing in anti-inflammatory and detoxifying veggies and herbs into blended soups. It’s often so simple and quick! Simply sautée some veggies like carrots, onion, leeks, and garlic for 10 minutes in a good quality cooking oil like coconut or avocado and add a few cups of broth and bring to a boil. Add your own spices like paprika (rich in antioxidants), turmeric (anti-inflammatory),or cayenne (detoxifying) and add to blender or use a handheld blender. Voila! You can add beautiful toppings as does. Her soups are more work of art than anything! 😍
