Mom Crew!
The deepest foundation of The Unconventional Mamas is building solid tribe with families that are likeminded. A crew to move with, laugh with, philosophize with, celebrate with and to lean on when the times get tough.

When I was running my prenatal, postnatal and family yoga studio for all those years it was always my mission to support the mothers so they could better support their children. The real depths of this philosophy was to support the children. The mother love came from my years of supporting the spiritual growth of women. Babies were just the next step. And as I grow as an unschooling, solo mother, I have naturally gravitated to the next level of supporting women. And here we are! As mothers who are all on the same page of what we want for our children in this crazy world.

When I sold my business including the name it was so hard to let that name go that I had built for 20+ years but I knew there was a purpose. I came up with a name that I fully resonated with and embodied but I wasn’’t sure how yet. I was however totally 100% positive it was divine driven and as I always move, with God, I knew it was the direction of my future. It was then that patience needed to settle in and allow the divine to do their work with my acceptance of the journey.

And The Unconventional Mamas was born! I tried to change names on my personal website to make it the new brand and the divine said “SORRY!” and crashed the whole thing losing many images and content. But as the journey goes, with that I was given another amazing mama (who is not pictured here but had texted us from her adventures this very moment to tell us she was swimming in the sea and still connected to us) This mama was also a client of the old studio. How is that for full circle? And now she is supporting me in finding the framework for the new website which will ultimately be the framework for the expansion of The Unconventional Mamas. Its just how God works!

So when you aren’t sure and being told to go in a direction that seems unclear, stay the course, ask for assistance from the divine and your tribe of mamas. And if you’re still looking for that crew, join us!

My favorite part about my consulting is being the conduit for ACCOUNTABILITY. I forever love meeting with a client and going over all their accomplishments from the weeks journey.

Being accountable can be really hard when you are showing up for yourself alone everyday. Or even as the leader, you need to always be “on” and who really has the capacity to do that without a cheerleader in your corner.

The Accountability Initiators Club is all about showing up as the cheerleader AND the one who desires the support. In this proven intimate gathering, we will meet weekly for 6 weeks as a group of women who desire to initiate accountability, stay on track and make strides in their business and relationships with the support of others.

Fun Fact:
Last year I went off the grid for 1 year and lived (THRIVED) with my son in the jungle in Costa Rica! 🐒🌿

In the jungle, I learned to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life. I woke up every morning to the sound of the monkeys and spent my days surrounded by vibrant nature. I learned to let go of modern life's stresses and pressures and embraced a simpler and more intentional way of living.

Today, I carry these lessons with me and strive to live a life that is intentional, connected, and carefree. I prioritize self-care, nature, and community, and I encourage others to do the same.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by the stresses of modern life, I encourage you to take a step back and embrace a more carefree way of living. Slow down, connect with nature, and prioritize the relationships in your life. You'll be amazed at how much more joyful and fulfilling life can be.

The Unconventional Mamas is in full launch and I feel so amazing being back in the space of women everyday in working my Goals of Passion!
I gathered a group of women yesterday at our weekly Surf Club and I was a little late getting there. I seem to always feel like I'm running late these days. It is my toxic trait to cram in just one more thing to my schedule. In my defense, I was celebrating my sisters very special 60th birthday at a quick brunch because her dance card is very full too. This must be a maternal familia trait. My mother always seemed to fit in one last thing to make magic happen as well. But I digress.........
So as we were frolicking like mermaids in the ocean, my friend shared that before I arrived to the beach the women sat there awaiting my arrival, not knowing each other before, they all began to share how they knew me. And in her view, each one had so many beautiful things to share about me and how I gathered women and their personal experience of joining our circle. She completed the share with reminding me that I was on path.
So if you don't circle yourself with women like this, START!!! I could have left my body and been complete in my work here right then and there if it weren't for all the sharing, learning and teaching I still get to do with my son.
