Yesterday, we shared that California ENA was proud to represent our state’s emergency nurses during ENA Day on the Hill. Today, we had the privilege of meeting with the staff of Representatives Congressman Kevin Mullin and Congressman Darrell Issa, as well as Senator Adam Schiff and Senator Alex Padilla, and engaging in meaningful conversations about the priorities that matter most to emergency nurses and the patients we serve.

We shared personal stories and frontline concerns about the realities facing emergency departments today. For more information about the legislation we are advocating for, please visit https://www.ena.org/events/day-hill-2026 to learn more about the key bills and national priorities.
