Create the Space to Be Seen is a 5-week virtual series and fundraiser hosted by Soma Wellness and R.G Shore of Northwest Wisdom, offering a supportive space to slow down, turn inward, and connect in meaningful community.

Each Friday morning, we will gather on Zoom for an hour of guided practices designed to cultivate presence, reflection, and authentic connection.

⚡️ Meet Sean Fitz ⚡️

We are so grateful to have to Sean joining the board, where he will be serving as our Creative Director. Our goal is to inspire creative, community-centered projects that foster connection and well-being.🙏

A community leader, Sean Fitz is a key member in many communities and organizations including ymca, Annenberg Foundation, California Jazz and Blues Museum, and his own art company. He has created creative spaces and learning hubs throughout the Chicago area, Los Angeles, and San Diego. His mission is art for wellness and to create more collaborative markets and experiences to ultimately connect the world.

🌱 Meet Josie Duraso 🌱

We are so excited to welcome Josie to the board, where she will be serving as Inclusivity Director. Our goal is to make sure these holistic practices are accessible to all. 🙏

Josie Duraso (she/her) is a q***r mystic, somatic therapist, and yoga teacher. She is earthy, soulful, and passionate about bringing people together to celebrate the magic of embodiment. Her teachings, rooted in eco feminism and eco spirituality, help people lovingly find freedom and home within their bodies and the natural world. With close to ten years of teaching experience, Josie has taught at festivals, conferences, and universities, led retreats, and assisted and led numerous yoga teacher trainings.
